🏆 SERVICE TO FOOTBALL – PLATINUM 🏆

Yesterday, during our Grand Final celebrations, we had the absolute honour of seeing our very own Club President, Kev Lawson, recognised with an incredibly special Service to Football – Platinum Award. ❤️💙

With over 45 years of involvement with St Albans, Kev’s dedication to this club is something truly extraordinary.

Throughout those 45+ years, Kev has held numerous committee positions, but his role as Club President has become his call to fame. He played a major part in the club’s relocation from Ruthven Street to our home at Middle Ridge Park, as well as the development of the facilities we have today, including our much-loved clubhouse.

And even after all these years, you’ll still find Kev at the club every chance he gets — whether it’s junior or senior training, game days, cheering from the verandah, wandering around the park watching our juniors, or making sure the senior men have clean jerseys every week! 😂❤️

Until just two years ago, Kev was still out there marking the fields, and although his grandson has now taken on that job, you can still count on Kev to lend a hand, have a chat and be there for his club.

The club is his life — and one he has been lucky enough to share with his whole family.

Kev, this recognition is so incredibly deserved. Your commitment, loyalty and countless hours of service have helped shape St Albans into the club it is today.
