What's on this month...

Join us for a relaxed morning of obstacle play. Whether you're a seasoned challenge competitor or just looking for a quiet event to expose your green horse this is for you. No pressure, move at your own pace whether that's in the saddle or on the ground.

No charge for the 2 hour session but participants are required to be members. Day memberships available.

Gates open at 9am.

Obstacles set up from 10am till 12.

Unfortunately, due to some administrative delays, the committee has made the decision to postpone our Stockmans Challenge until early 2027.

This decision has not been made lightly but we want to be sure to bring you the best challenge we can.

So, while it’s a little disappointing to have to wait, we’re looking forward to coming back bigger and better in 2027 with some fabulous prizes, sashes and plenty of fun along the way!

We’d also love to make a whole weekend of it, so there’s plenty of time for everyone to enjoy the Yorke Peninsula while you're here. With potential for a brewery ride and beach ride before everyone heads home. 🌊🐎

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and shown interest in our challenge so far. We really appreciate your patience and understanding and we can’t wait to welcome you all to the SYP Riding Club in 2027.

Watch this space… we’ll be back! 🤠

Happening this weekend, Saturday 15th August.

Spoilt for choice, they're forecasting a whole weekend of beautiful weather 🌞! Join us for a relaxing ride from Sultana to Coobowie where we'll refresh and rehydrate at the pub for lunch.

Day memberships available but please contact the club to ensure this ride is suited to your abilities.

A huge thank you to Jess and Steph for coming out and delivering today’s Equine First Aid session. It was an incredibly informative morning, topped off with some valuable hands on practical. Let’s just hope we never have to put those new skills to use!
Another big thank you to Kali and Steph for putting together the take home packs for all attendees. Any members who missed out coming along today, we have some spare laminated cards with your first aid kit check list and emergency contacts designed to live in your kits.

Next month we have a Sultana Point to Coobowie Hotel pencilled in as well as another Green rider session. Keep an eye out for up coming dates.

If you own a horse you'll know it's not if, it's when will they injure themselves 🤦‍♀️ don't leave it till an emergency to brush up your first aid skills.

FREE for all SYP RC members, $10pp for non members with all participants taking home some essentials for your kits. Family discount available.
