We’re kicking off the new season with a 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘆𝗮 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀.

We’re pleased to introduce the Moruya Swimming Club Committee for the 2026/27 season.

It’s great to see our committee continuing to grow this year, with a mix of returning and new faces volunteering their time to support our swimmers and our club.

We have plenty planned for the season ahead, including some exciting new initiatives and development clinics for our swimmers.

Our 2026/27 season officially kicks off on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 with our first Swim Club Night.

We’re looking forward to another great summer of swimming, improvement, friendly competition and plenty of fun at the pool. See you there! 🏊‍♀️

🏊 Want to make a real difference in your community? Now's your chance!

As we look towards the pool opening again very soon (keep an eye out for an opening date 👀) the Bay Pavilions is hosting two Royal Life Saving NSW courses this September school holidays:
Lifeguard Course: Monday 28 & Tuesday 29 September
Swim Teacher Course: Wednesday 30 September

Perfect timing during the school holidays, these courses are open to anyone aged 16+, including school students.

💰 Funding may be available for eligible high school students aged 16+
💳 Payment plans are also available

We're hiring! Aligned Leisure is looking for Lifeguards and Swim Teachers, so completing one of these courses could be your first step into a rewarding new role with us.

𝗔 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘆𝗮 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗔𝗚𝗠 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟲𝗽𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘆𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯.

We’re still looking for a Treasurer to join our committee. If you’d like to get involved and help support our club, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a great little committee and a lovely way to be part of the club behind the scenes.

Swimming NSW is inviting young people aged 14–25 to get involved in its Young Officials Accelerator Program!

It’s a great opportunity to learn more about officiating, build confidence and leadership skills, and get involved in swimming beyond the pool.

Another fantastic winter weekend in the pool at The Bay! 🏊‍♂️❄️

Moruya Swimming Club enjoyed a successful day at the SESA Winter Short Course Meet, bringing home plenty of medals and finishing in the Top 10 overall. A huge congratulations to all of our swimmers—you represented the club with pride, determination and great sportsmanship. We couldn’t be prouder!

A special shout-out to our girls’ relay team of Harriet, Angel, Elani and Annie, who came away with 2nd place in both the Freestyle and Medley Relays. An outstanding achievement—well done girls! 🥈🥈

It was also great to spend the weekend alongside our friends from Narooma Swimming Club. We’re lucky to share the same coaches and always enjoy cheering each other on and catching up poolside.

Well done to everyone who competed and supported the team. Go Moruya! 💚💙🤍

Congratulations Annie Tyrell who competed at NSW Country Winter short Course Championships with two top 10 placings in 100m and 50m freestyle and a PB in her 50m butterfly. Keep up the hard work Annie!!! 🏊‍♀️

Well done to all of our swimmers on Sunday who competed in the Development Meet a the Bay Pavillon. It was a great opportunity for our swimmers to get some qualifying times for SESA Winter Champs on 1st - 2nd of August. We wore our Tshirts with pride and a continued thank you to our wonderful sponsors!!
