Unfortunately, pre-season training is CANCELLED this Sunday, 6th September. 🌧️🏴‍☠️

The grounds be a little too wet for the Pirate ship to dock, and with it being Father’s Day, we reckon our Pirates deserve a day off! 🥎💛

So, put the boots away, enjoy some family time, and give those Pirate dads a well-earned day of rest! 👨‍👧‍👦🏴‍☠️

We’ll be back on deck soon, ready to get stuck into pre-season! 💪🥎

Ever thought about giving umpiring a go? Here’s your chance to get your Level 1 Umpire Certification and brush up on the rules!

A great opportunity to add another skill to your Pirate treasure chest and be ready for the 2026/27 season! 🥎

Interested in becoming an umpire or just want to brush up on the rules?

Hills Softball Association is holding an Umpire Course open to beginners, those looking for a refresher, or anyone wanting to gain their Level 1 Umpire Certification.

Sunday 13th September
9am–3pm
Lunch provided

Between completing the online component, attending the training day and being observed umpiring a few games, you can become a certified Level 1 Umpire.

It’s a great opportunity to get qualified in time for the Junior Championships and be ready for the 2026/27 season.

The new softball season is fast approaching, with the **2026/27 season setting sail the weekend of 9th & 10th October!**

So, we're starting the **NFA Pirates Countdown to Season**! ⏳🏴‍☠️

Over the coming weeks, we'll be bringing you a treasure chest of Pirates news, club updates, player spotlights, softball tips, fun stuff and a few surprises along the way. 🗺️💰🥎
