Before we relax into the Easter long weekend, it’s time to celebrate our Intruders junior legends for Round 2, thanks to award sponsor Fasta Pasta. Well done to all award winners!

Congratulations to Charlotte Lock who just might be in for some school holiday fun. Charlotte is the winner of the Intruders Junior Player of the Round award for Round 2, proudly sponsored by Kaboom Entertainment.

Congratulations Katie Welden who is the Collars and Cuffs Senior Player of the Round for round 2. Katie’s own team had the bye this week and she took the court for A2 Orange to run out four solid quarters in the stifling heat. Her never-give-up attitude supported the team throughout a tough game.

Stella Walsgott celebrated 50 games for Intruders Netball Club with a stellar win in the 13B game. Congratulations Stella!

Hot conditions made for some extreme margins in round 2! It was beautiful weather for spectating, not so much for playing. We’ll break for Easter and return in 2 weeks for the Anzac round.

Intruders warm up tops have arrived and they look amazing! Under the guidance of uniform coordinator Shane Dycer, the committee pulled out a marathon session to sort all the shirts into team groups ready to get onto player and supporter backs for Round 2. A big thank you to the many sponsors lucky enough to get their name behind a winning team - please get out there and support them right back.

It’s nearly the weekend, which means it’s nearly time for netball and a cold drink with your Intruders crew after the game. Here’s what you missed last week at the Globe Hotel! Thanks so much to the Globe for their awesome hospitality and ongoing support of Intruders Netball Club.
