💚💛 SENIOR PRESENTATIONS 2026 💛💚

What a fantastic night celebrating the season that was! It was great to have everyone together to recognise the achievements of our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters throughout the year.

Congratulations to all our award winners and to every player on another amazing season. Congratulations to Natasha Tillson for Best Club Person. We are incredibly proud of everyone who represented Myponga both on and off the court this year.

A huge thank you to W***y Thomas for doing a brilliant job as our MC, and to Leah Tait for keeping the music playing and the dance floor going all night! Another big thank you to Emma Jones for our amazing photos!

Thank you to everyone who helped organise the evening and to all those who came along and made it such a fun and memorable night. What a way to finish the season! 💃🏆

Today, GSNA heads to MOUNT COMPASS for the 2026 Grand Finals!

Many thanks to Mount Compass NC for all their hard work in the past weeks, as they prepare to host the
Grand Finals, it is much appreciated.

All fixture information is now available on PlayHQ.

A little housekeeping for us all..........

💰 Gate Prices for Finals:
- Adults $7 (Under 18s free)
- Concession $5

📕 The souvenir GRAND FINAL BOOKLET is just $5.00 again this year! ⭐️ Special thanks to Jules McLaren for all her work in putting this together.

🗺️ Please note on the map there are two gate entrances

🚗 There will be no vehicle access between the netball courts and the back of the football clubrooms

☕Brew Box will be serving coffee all day from the back of the footy club

🍧Harvest the Fleurieu will be serving ice-cream all day from the back of the footy club

💇🏻‍♀️The local pre-school will have a stall at the entrance to the courts - think team colours, glitter and face paint!

🌭Hot food will be served out of the footy canteen

🧋Drinks and lollies will be served out of the netball canteen

💧Please feel free to use the water refill station (filtered water) which is situated on court one near the canteen

🎾The tennis courts are available as extra courts for team warm up - please note that these are brand new and are still in the process of being finished. There are no goal posts but plenty of room to run and pass. Please be careful through the middle of the courts as the tennis holes/with covers have just been put in - please try and avoid this strip.

🧹Please help us look after our brand new courts and clean up after yourself

🍬 No chewing gum – Please leave the gum at home! It’s really difficult to remove when it’s left behind on the courts

📣 Banners – We love seeing everyone’s banners around the courts! Just please be mindful of where they’re hung so those standing outside the fence can still see the game.

🐶 Please no dogs on or near court area

🧍🏻Please no standing allowed between court 2 and 3

🥂Strictly no BYO alcohol as the precinct is a licensed area

🍷 Bar will be open from midday inside the footy club, no alcohol beyond the Sports and Social Club, football club verandah.

🍻No alcohol on courts

🏪 Businesses trading in the main street and within walking distance will be open:
- Stems of Style (fresh flowers, gifting, preloved fashion)
- Mummy & Me pop up shop in the War Memorial Hall (preloved baby kids clothing and accessories)
- Clyde & Co (coffee + cafe)

What a day of finals netball for Pongy! We are so proud of all four teams who took the court and gave it everything they had. 💪

A HUGE congratulations to our Inter 3 and 13 Div 1 girls who both came away with incredible wins and have booked their spots in the GRAND FINAL! 🏆🔥 One more game girls — we can’t wait to see you out there next weekend! 💚💛

To our 11 Div 3 and Senior 3 teams, unfortunately your seasons have come to an end. You should all be incredibly proud of making it this far and of everything you have achieved this season. What an amazing effort! 👏

A little reminder for everyone heading along to support our teams — please help us look after the courts and surrounding areas:

🧹 Keep the courts clean – Please help us leave the courts clean and tidy.

🥤 Food & drinks – Please keep food and drinks out of the viewing area between the courts.

🍬 No chewing gum – Please leave the gum at home! It’s really difficult to remove when it’s left behind on the courts.

📣 Banners – We love seeing the green & gold around the courts! 💚💛 Just be mindful of where banners are hung so those standing outside the fence can still see the game.

📢MILESTONE ALERT📢
Congratulations to Tayla Deacon who will play and celebrate her 150th Junior Club Game this weekend at 9am. Tayla has played all her junior netball at Myponga and it has been a pleasure watching her improve her skills and understanding of the game over the years. Tayla takes to the court each and every week with absolute determination to get every ball whether its an intercept or a rebound and she is her teammates biggest supporter from GK as she is always cheering loudly. We wish you all the very best in your game this weekend Tayla 💚💛
