One team left standing. 💚💛

What an incredible effort from our Junior Colts on Saturday. They stood tall in a great game of junior footy, fought it out right to the end and got the win over Mount Compass to book their spot in the GRAND FINAL!

After taking it out last year, they’ll now get the chance to go back to back when they take on McLaren Districts this Saturday at Encounter Bay.

Unfortunately Saturday also brought an end to the season for our Senior Colts and Reserves. Not the result either team was chasing, but making it through to a Prelim is another bloody good effort. Hold your heads high, Mudlarks. 💚💛

But for now… WE’RE NOT DONE YET.

For the fifth year in a row, the Mudlarks will have a junior team playing on Grand Final day 👏🏼🔰

Prelim Final time! Junior Colts, Senior Colts and Reserves all head to Yankalilla today with one last chance to book a spot in the Grand Final.

First game kicks off at 9:30am, so get there early, find the Mudlark area and get ready to make some noise!

Time to dig deep and get loud, Mudlarks. Wear your green and gold and get right behind our teams. Loud and proud, now’s the time to show your support! 💚💛

Good luck to all three teams, coaches and support crews today. Another fantastic season so far, let’s give it everything!

A Grade Debut | Fletcher Harding 🔰

Round 14 saw Fletch earn his first crack at A Grade footy after a big year both at the Mudlarks and with the SAFC U18 squad.

There’s lots to love about Fletch’s footy. He’s quick, athletic, skilful and a great young lad to have around the club. He well and truly earned his opportunity at A Grade level.

It was great to see him get his chance and we’re pretty excited to see a lot more of Fletch up there next year and beyond.

What a weekend of finals footy.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday’s home final happen, from the prep during the week and early starts, to the volunteers working throughout the day and everyone who stayed around to help pack it all up again. Days like this take a lot of people behind the scenes and we’re very grateful to every single one of you. 🙌

Our three teams on Sunday all put on a show and gave it everything. Unfortunately our A Grade fell just short in an absolute heartbreaker, going down by just 3 points. 💔 We’ll give them the proper wrap up they deserve in the coming days.

Our Junior Colts and Senior Colts both got the job done and are through to the Preliminary Final at Yankalilla this weekend.

Our Reserves also had a tough battle on Saturday, being close all game before eventually going down by 11 points. Good news is they get another crack this weekend and will join our Colts at Yankalilla for the Prelim.

A massive effort from our players, coaches, trainers and all team staff who have put so much into getting to this point of the season. Another cracker effort by the Mudlarks and we couldn’t be prouder.

And lastly, how good do our grounds look! 😍 A big thanks to MFLTV for capturing these unreal drone shots of Myponga Oval and our pretty special surrounds. Not a bad place to call home. 💚💛

Our Reserves head to McLaren Vale today to take on McLaren Districts with a spot in the Grand Final on the line.
