TIMING CHIPS — PLEASE KEEP!
If you picked up your race kit and received a timing chip, PLEASE DO NOT THROW IT OUT.

The timing chips are reusable and we need them returned.

If you’re out and about, free feel to return them between now & midday. We have our crew at two locations.

Stockton — Hanne Humphreys will be there 9:15AM- 12PM today if you’d like to drop your chip off.

OR

Queens Wharf Ferry Terminal — Race Director Ja Davis will be there from 9:15AM–12PM for chip drop-off.

If you can’t make it today, no worries, please keep your timing chip somewhere safe. We’ll be in contact throughout the week with details on how to return it.

ISLAND TRIATHLON — RACE CANCELLED — SUNDAY 27th SEPT

Unfortunately, due to destructive winds, unsafe swell and severe weather conditions, tomorrow’s race has been cancelled.

This was an incredibly difficult decision, and we’re so sorry to everyone who has trained, prepared and looked forward to race day (as have we).

First-Timers Information Session with Race Director Ja Davis — 1 pm Saturday at Race HQ, Griffith Park, Stockton

Taking on your first triathlon? Join Race Director Ja Davis for a relaxed and practical information session designed to help you feel prepared and confident for race day.

Ja will guide you through everything from setting up your bike and planning your nutrition the day before, to checking in, entering transition, racking your bike and knowing what to expect on course all the way to the finish line.

Ja has hosted this session many times, with first-time participants sharing how much it helped them feel calmer and better prepared: “The briefing certainly settled my nerves for race day,” “Thanks for the tips, they really helped,” and “I’m so glad I attended. You covered things I hadn’t even thought of.”

Simply time your race kit collection for 1pm on Saturday and stay for the session. We’d love to see you there and help you start your first triathlon feeling ready and excited!
