Expressions Ballet Academy was established in 2009 under the direction of Emma Madden. The school offers classes in classical ballet, stretch and strengthen, contemporary, jazz and acrobatics for students aged 2 years to adult. Expressions Ballet Academy aims to foster a love of dance in a caring, nurturing and fun environment, whilst providing students with a high level of technical training. Students have the opportunity to undertake examinations in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and participate in an end of year performance as well as other performance opportunities throughout the year. Emma Madden has many years experience in a range of dance fields. She has undertaken examinations in both the Royal Academy of Dance and Australian Ballet School syllabi. Emma understands the importance of teaching dance in a fun environment where everyone feels comfortable and inspired to learn.

Amelia, Chelsea and Bronte have had a wonderful three weeks at the Alberta Ballet School Summer Intensive in Canada! They will be returning home with valuable feedback, incredible knowledge and inspiration. They were fortunate to take classes with Francesco Ventriglia, the Artistic Director of Alberta Ballet, as well as the full-time teachers from Alberta Ballet School.

Backstage magic at our EBA Choreography Showcase. A fantastic and fun night had by all!

✨EBA Choreography Showcase✨

What a way to finish off a tremendous term! Our EBA Choreography Showcase was filled with fun, friendship, energy and incredible teamwork.

We are extremely proud of all our Junior, Inter and Senior classes who showcased versatility through Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Neo Classical dance.

Thank you to our inspiring and exceptional team of teachers for their care in preparing each group and soloist. Bravo Miss Annabelle, Miss Indie, Miss Lily and Miss Georgia! It was a joy to see a collaboration of teachers and students choreography shine bright on stage.

Congratulations to our students who performed with incredible creativity in their own Choreography!
