PLEASE NOTE:
This is not a first-come, first-served system - every application is equally considered in a random draw. We encourage applicants to be patient, understand the key dates and reach out only if you have not heard anything after 6 November 2026.
Duo teams and non-elite racing wheelchairs have a separate application process and should not register via the ballot.

RESULTS:
Applicants will be notified of their result, and bank cards will be charged if successful, on 3 November 2026 with a confirmation email to follow. Please ensure the email address entered is correct. Sometimes emails land in your junk or spam folder; be sure to check there first before reaching out.
To ensure fairness and consistency, no correspondence will be provided regarding the status of your ballot application from the moment the ballot opens until applicants have been notified of their result. The outcome of the ballot draw is final. Please check out our FAQs for any questions.

What a way to close out the biggest year in TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS history. 🩵

Together, our community has raised a record $15.2 million for charity - the largest amount ever raised through a single day of running in Australia.

More than 100,000 individual donations came together for 2026 across 9,810 fundraisers and 83 teams, supporting 545 charities and causes that mean so much to our community. It also brings the total raised through the TCS Sydney Marathon to more than $52.7 million since the event began.

From the people who fundraised for months, to everyone who donated, shared a fundraising page or showed up on race day to run for something bigger than themselves - thank you. This record is a reflection of the generosity of our entire community.

💜 A special congratulations to Running for Premature Babies, our headline charity partner, who raised nearly $1.1 million in their 20th anniversary year.

💙 And in just its second year, our headline foundation partner, We Run, raised over $700,000 in funds to help break down barriers to participation and create safe, inclusive and accessible spaces for underrepresented communities.

❤️ To Orly Lavee, our highest individual fundraiser, who raised an incredible $50,150 for the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group.

We’re incredibly proud of what this community has achieved together. 🎗️
