Last year, you asked for a more immersive course flyover - so we listened.

This year, we’ve slowed it down and packed in more detail, so you can get familiar with the course before race day.

See the elevation changes, bridges, tree-lined sections and key landmarks, plus Party Zones, drink stations, gel and electrolyte stations along the way. We’ve even mapped the Walk Off from the finish line through to the Recovery Zone, so you know what’s waiting for you after the 42.2km.

One warning: seeing the course in this much detail really does show you just how far 42.2km is. 😅

So share it with your mates, pick a spot for them to cheer you on and start getting excited.

🚉 Our Marathon Express train services run every 30 minutes from Central Station directly to the TCS Sydney Marathon Running Show at Sydney Showground.

🎟️ Public transport* is included for all registered participants and volunteers - simply show your transport pass or bib to staff.

🚘 We strongly discourage driving to and from the event. has extra services running on event day to ensure your journey is as smooth as possible. Take public transport where you can!
