Holding lots of people at the club who may have lost any dads in their life in our hearts. It was a beautiful spring day…. Which means summer LC season is coming 🙌

This is a great meet, particularly for our younger swimmers with the 25m events. Last year, we had several swimmers who made their debut races at Blayney and lived it so much they went on compete at more meets.

📍 CentrePoint Sport and Leisure Centre, Blayney
⏰ Warm-up: **9:30am** | Racing: **10:30am**

This is a great opportunity for developing swimmers from across the Mountains & Plains region to get behind the blocks, build racing experience and chase some new PBs! 💪

There are events for a wide range of swimmers, including:

🔹 25m beginner events
🔹 50m & 100m events across all strokes
🔹 200m events
🔹 Individual Medley events
🔹 400m Freestyle & 400m IM
🔹 Multi-Class events
🏅 Medals across eligible events and age groups

💰 **$7 per event**
🏊 Maximum **5 events per swimmer**

🚨 **ENTRIES CLOSE MIDNIGHT FRIDAY 18 SEPTEMBER**

Entries may close earlier if the meet reaches its entry limit, so don't wait until the last minute.

Vale Andrew ‘Digger’ Hortsman.

Digger passed on Monday at Orange hospital after the most courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer.

Dig’s was dad to a highly valued and loved swimmer of our team Edie, who recently hung up her togs in retirement, as well as dad to her gorgeous sister Macie.
Digger was a soul mate and life long love and best friend of Vanessa… an invaluable part of our club as a mum and fitness instructor.

Digs lit up every room he walked into. His cheeky smile, infectious laugh and his ability to make every single person feel drawn into his contagious personality…. and want to share in his passion for life and energy was second to none.

Your 3 women are your amazing legacy Digs. Our thoughts and love are with them all.

State short course wrapped up a few days ago with more success from our swimmers.

Knox Gibson rounded off his haul of medals with a gold 🥇 in the 50 free.

Brooklyn hooked another silver 🥈 in the 400IM with a huge 5.97 sec pb

And Josh secured the bronze 🥉 in the 100IM!

Well done to our senior swimmers who continue to perform well down in Sydney. 3 more 🥈🥈🥈 to Knox, despite a wardrobe malfunction! And a huge 3.54 second pb in the 200Fly for Brooklyn, a 🥈 and a national open short course qualifying time! 👏
