It’s hard to put into words what yesterday truly meant.
Three hard fought games, three premierships and a new page written in the Kingsley history books. The fact that League won with a goal after the siren and capped off the day in that fashion was simply unbelievable. It still hasn’t properly sunk in.
At face value, yesterday was about winning, but for us it was so much more than that. It was the result of years of hard work and an enormous amount of effort from everyone involved in the club to put Kingsley back in a position to have success like this.
To our players, coaches, committee, sponsors, volunteers, trainers, managers, bar staff, supporters, families and everyone else who gives their time or continues to get behind the club, this belongs to all of you. So many people have contributed to what we’ve built and yesterday was something we can all celebrate together.
The most exciting part is knowing this is just the beginning. The club is in its strongest position in years and the future has never looked brighter.
For now though, it’s time to enjoy what we’ve achieved and celebrate a day we’ll never forget!!
