We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Steven Mattaboni, a premiership player and much loved friend to many within our club community.

Mattas was one of the most genuine people you could meet. He had a smile and presence that could light up a room, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and love are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time, especially his wife Shirene and their two young daughters.

We encourage our community to wrap their arms around those closest to Mattas and offer support wherever possible.

Today we celebrate a massive milestone as Aidan “Devs” Devereux runs out for his 200th game for the Kingsley Cats!

One of the smartest footballers going around, Devs has built his game on elite skills, hard running and one serious tank. Whether he’s finding space on the wing, working up and down the ground all day or popping up exactly where the footy is… there’s a reason he’s regarded as an elite seagull (in the best possible way 😅)

Quick, fit and consistently reliable, Devs has been a huge part of the Cats over the years and is the definition of a proper wingman.

You’ll find him around the club, usually with a roller in hand 😉
