Due to extreme temperatures , Ringwood and Dorset Golf are now closed for the rest of today to ensure everyone’s safety.
We will reopen for play from first light on Wednesday, 28th January.
Thank you for your understanding and stay cool!

🔥HEAT HEALTH WARNING🔥
A heat warning for Saturday 24th January 2026.
If you’re heading out on the golf course, please consider your wellbeing first!
If you must play:
Hydrate before and during your game.🥤
Wear light, loose clothes and a wide-brim hat.👒
Use SPF 30+ sunscreen and reapply often.
Consider 9 holes only.⛳
Seek shade whenever possible.
We advise avoiding playing in the heat of the day, and either play early or delaying until conditions are cooler.

If the Scoresby temperature reaches 38 degrees the course will only accept 9 hole play.
If the temperature reaches 40 degrees the first and 10th tee closes with no more teeing off, even if the golfers are mid round.
If the temperature reaches 42 degrees the course is closed and everyone must leave the course.

Ringwood Golf on Saturday held the US Kids golf event. ⛳
Nearly 80 kids teed it up in near perfect golf conditions.
Maybe a future champion golfer? 😀

Ringwood conducts junior golf clinics every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays starting when school starts 28th January.
