❤️🤍 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2026 Netball Presentation to celebrate a fantastic year!

📣 Our next AGM is on 27 October at 6pm at Club Maitland City, and everyone is welcome!

We’re looking for new general committee members to get involved, share ideas and help our club continue to grow. You don’t need previous committee experience just a willingness to help and a love for our club! Our club needs people behind the scenes to keep it thriving. Come along, get involved and be part of making next season our best yet!

📣 UPDATED DATE – WRTNC GRADING / ASSESSMENT SESSION

Our WRTNC Grading / Assessment Session – Spring 2026 has been rescheduled to Saturday 17 October at the Maitland Netball Courts.

This is an optional assessment session open to players who would like to attend — whether you’re looking for a team for 2027, considering a change, or simply curious about your current playing level.

The session may be helpful if you:

❤️ are looking for a team for 2027
❤️ are part of a team that may not be returning next season
❤️ would like some guidance around the grade or level that may best suit you
❤️ are considering whether another team may better suit your development or goals
❤️ are happy in your current team but would still like the opportunity to be assessed and get an idea of your playing level

You do not need to be looking to change teams to attend.

🏐 SATURDAY 17 OCTOBER
📍 Maitland Netball Courts

10–12 Years
8:30am – Sign on & warm up
9:00am – On court

Inters
9:30am – Sign on & warm up
10:00am – On court

Cadets

⏰ All players must arrive 30 minutes before their allocated on-court time to sign on and warm up.

☀️ WHAT TO BRING

With the weather starting to warm up, please come prepared for a morning on the courts:

💧 Plenty of water
☀️ Sunscreen
🧊 Cool towels are a great idea
🏐 Appropriate netball clothing and footwear
❤️🤍 And we’d love to see plenty of Wests training shirts out on court!

📣 IMPORTANT PRESENTATION DAY TIME UPDATE ❤️🤍

We need to make a slight adjustment to our Presentation Day schedule.

We know changing times this close to the day isn’t ideal, and we have looked at several different ways to avoid doing so. Unfortunately, with our venue capacity, wanting to make sure presentations aren’t rushed, and now not having access to the room until 9:00am on the morning, we feel this is the best option.

Most importantly, we want every player to receive the presentation and recognition they deserve, rather than trying to squeeze everyone through within a timeframe that simply won’t work comfortably.

Updated presentation times:

❤️ NetSetGO — 10:00am
❤️ 10 Years–Cadet — 11:00am
❤️ Seniors — 1:30pm

🚪 Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each presentation. Please avoid arriving earlier where possible, as we will be setting up and preparing the room between sessions.

A couple of important reminders:

• Due to venue capacity, there will be standing room only for parents.
• Please keep the doorway clear at all times. After receiving their awards, teams will move through to the photo area for their team photo before returning to their seats.

We really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding with this change. It is certainly not something we wanted to alter at the last minute, but we would much rather make a small adjustment to the schedule than rush what should be a special celebration of our players and their season.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all! ❤️🤍

WRTNC PRESENTATION – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ❤️🤍

With our Presentation Day coming up, we have a few important housekeeping details to share with our players, families and coaches to help the day run as smoothly and comfortably as possible.

Our NetSetGO awards will be presented first, with NetSetGO players seated together at the front of the room on the floor space. Once their presentation is complete, NetSetGO teams and their families are welcome to head off, which will help create some additional room as we move through the remainder of the presentations.

Due to venue capacity, we kindly ask families to limit the number of people attending where possible. Unfortunately, there will be no general parent seating available upstairs during the presentation, with limited standing room available only.

We do, however, want to make sure we can comfortably accommodate anyone who requires seating or accessible space due to mobility needs. If someone attending with your family uses a wheelchair, has limited mobility, or requires a seat for accessibility reasons, please let us know prior to Presentation Day so we can plan the space accordingly and make their arrival as easy and comfortable as possible.

Please also help us keep the doorway clear at all times. Teams will be moving through this area to access our photo area outside the room, so keeping this space free will help everything flow smoothly.

❤️ Players: We encourage you to wear your Wests polo or training shirt if you have one. It’s a great way to represent our club and show some support for the wonderful sponsors who support us throughout the season.

🚪 Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the scheduled presentation start time. Please avoid arriving too early, as we won’t be able to provide access before then.
