TRIPLE 3 CHALLENGE 🏌️

Our first ever Triple 3 Challenge went off on Friday — all 18 holes played as par 3s, 3 person Ambrose, three clubs each plus a putter, and everyone in the team using the same selection.

108 players, a full field, and the whole thing done in 4 hours 15. From all reports the format was a winner, so get in early next year.

Best scratch of the day was a 6 under 48 to Cooper and Lee Maddinson with Ross Rees.

Winners on 42.125 nett: Matt and Kyra Florance with Tim O’Connor.
Runners up on 44.25: Col Brown, Peter Wilkins and Wayne Cameron — driver, 8 iron and gap wedge. Yes, driver.

The Heads has been named in Australian Golf Digest’s Top 200 Courses for 2026 — out of roughly 1,500 courses across the country.

Not bad for a little links course by the sea 🌊

Huge credit to our greens team for keeping this place looking the way it does — and to the Pro Shop and café for looking after our visitors so well.
