💛 A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR NIEKI 💛

Jeneikah “Nieki” wanted us to share a beautiful video message she received this morning from Gold Coast Titans NRLW players Jaime Chapman, Lauren Brown and Georgia Grey.

Nieki and her family have been overwhelmed by the incredible support shown by the South Grafton Rebels JRL community and the Gold Coast Titans NRLW players during her fight against sarcoma.

In another incredibly generous gesture, Jaime Chapman has offered to donate a pair of her footy boots to be auctioned, with all money raised going towards supporting Nieki and her family.

We cannot thank Jaime, Lauren, Georgia and the entire Titans NRLW community enough for showing Nieki that she is not fighting alone. 💛💙

The support, kindness and generosity shown to this brave young girl truly means more than words can express.

❤️🤍🖤 REBELS RALLYING BEHIND JENIEKAH 🖤🤍❤️

On Saturday, 22 August, as we host Semi Finals at McKittrick Park, the South Grafton Rebels JRL community will be coming together for something much bigger than rugby league.

We’re asking our Rebels family, the wider rugby league community and the Clarence Valley to help us support a brave young girl named Jeniekah and her family.

Jeniekah is currently fighting sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that develops in the body’s connective tissues, including muscles, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons and bones.

Jeniekah recently underwent treatment for cancer in her foot. Sadly, the treatment was unsuccessful and she has since had to undergo an amputation of her leg just below the knee.

Jeniekah has family within our South Grafton Rebels community, and we want to use the strength and reach of our club to get behind her and raise as much money as possible to help her family as she continues her fight.

Throughout the day, our volunteers will be walking around McKittrick Park selling raffle tickets:

$2 each or 3 for $5

Every ticket purchased is another small way our rugby league community can get behind Jeniekah and her family.

The South Grafton Rebels Junior Rugby League Club is inviting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from within our club and the wider community to help create something truly special.

A large percentage of our junior players proudly identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. It’s part of who we are. It’s part of the Rebels’ culture.

For the 2027 season, wSouth Grafton Rebels Junior Rugby Leagueto proudly celebrate the rich cultures of the Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr and Yaegl Nations through an original design created by a local Indigenous artist.

This is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy on our club, with your artwork becoming part of the identity worn by every Rebel on and off the field.
