150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity is the weekly amount often recommended for adults, but when you hear “150 minutes”, it can sound like a lot.

Break it down and it becomes much more manageable.

30 minutes, five days a week.
50 minutes, three days a week.
20 minutes a day.
Or a combination of different activities throughout your week.

And it doesn’t all have to happen inside the gym. Walking, cycling, swimming, pilates, sport and your regular gym sessions can all be part of an active lifestyle. The goal isn’t to cram more into an already busy schedule. It’s to find realistic ways to move more that fit into your life.

Start with what you can do, build from there and remember…every bit of movement counts 👊🏼

You don’t need the perfect routine.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to wait for Monday, next month, or the “right time.”

The hardest part is often taking that first step. From there, confidence grows. Healthy habits begin to form. Showing up gets a little easier and before you know it, what once felt challenging becomes part of your routine.

Whether it’s your first workout or your hundredth, every session is an investment in your health.

Everyone has a different reason for walking through our doors and more often than not, it has nothing to do with the number on the scales.

For many people, it’s about having more energy to get through the day, creating time to switch off and look after their mental wellbeing, or building a routine that helps them feel healthier and more confident.
