About Lake Macquarie Rugby Club
Located on the stunning shores of Lake Macquarie, our club is proud to be a cornerstone of rugby in the region. Senior Rugby:
We compete in the Central Coast Rugby Union, fielding 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade men’s teams in the Premier Rugby Competitions, along with a strong Premier Women’s team. Junior Rugby:
Our junior program is thriving, with teams from Under 7s through to Under 18s, plus dedicated girls’ teams in Under 13s, 15s, and 17s, competing in the Hunter Junior Rugby Union. Our Achievements:
Over the years, we’ve celebrated numerous trophies and premierships, and proudly seen players achieve representative honours for Newcastle, Country, NSW, and even Canada.

Rugby Australia has announced their Next Gen U16 Girls Squads, recognising the Top 40 U16 girls in Australia, and we are absolutely BUZZING to have SEVEN Roos girls named! 💛

Our U17s girls joined forces with our Joeys (U13s) at training this week to help them prepare for their Grand Final next week!🏆🔥

It was fantastic to see our senior girls sharing their experience, passing on a few tips and tricks, and most importantly, having plenty of fun and laughs with our Joeys. 🦘💛

This is what our club is all about; supporting each other, learning from one another and building the next generation of Roos!💪
