We were very fortunate to receive a visit from Chatswood Golf Club Life Member Robby McAlpine this morning. Robby has been a member for nearly 57 years and is celebrating his 95th Birthday today!

On behalf of the Board and Members, we wish Robby a very Happy Birthday and thank him for his years of service and dedication to the Club.

We invite all members of the community to view detailed plans of the proposed Clubhouse facilities at Chatswood Golf Club. Your opinion and feedback of the proposed development of the Golf Club and Senior’s Living Project will help to plan a project of which our Golf Club and Watermark Chatswood can be proud and that Willoughby Council can be confident is supported by the community.

All CGC members and guests are advised that following reconsideration by the Office of Sport NSW Government, Golf NSW confirms that NSW golf clubs can continue golfing operations, on the condition that strict social distancing regulations are adhered to.

The Club is aware of updated information from Golf NSW and The Office of Sport – NSW Government regarding the ability to play golf in NSW.

Please note that the Course will remain closed today with a further update provided to members later this afternoon.

Due to developing COVID-19 concerns, Chatswood Golf Club has cancelled all scheduled information sessions at our Clubhouse.

We will provide an update shortly about how you may digitally access information about the project, frequently asked questions and feedback forms.

We’ve delivered over 5,000 invitations to come and see the Club’s project plans to deliver some amazing new facilities for the community and a world class seniors village. We’d love to see you and share our vision so please drop by for one of the sessions over the next few weeks.

Sessions will be held at CGC’s Clubhouse during the following times:
• Tuesdays: 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st March - between 1pm–2pm
• Thursdays: 12th, 19th, 26th March and 2nd April - between 5pm–6pm

Members and Guests are advised that the course will remain closed until further notice after we received over 400mm of rain over the past 3 days. There are many trees and branches down across the property along with washout and flooded bunkers.

We will keep Members and Guests updated on when the course will be reopened and available for play.
