Having just turned 36 Lionel Messi will go down as perhaps the greatest football player of all time. Lets take a look back to the 2004/05 La Liga season when Messi made his professional debut.

One of the most iconic moments in Champions League history, Lars Ricken came on as a substitute for Borussia Dortmund and within 16 seconds went on to score one of the quickest goals by a substitute in Champions League history, cementing a 3-1 victory for the underdogs against Juventus.

Here we see Ronaldo "O Fenômeno" celebrating a goal for FC Barcelona in their iconic home kit from the 1996-97 campaign.
