28/12/2025

Well, it’s been a busy year to say the least! We usually celebrate another year of Airborne in October but with some busy schedules and personal commitments we’ve decided to do it January 2026. Please join us at Heffron Netball courts at 3pm for a fun session of skating including music, disco vibes for the casual rollers and rail and box session for our aggressive skaters. All wheels are welcome, it’s just a gathering for all our friends and roller family to celebrate 3 years of Airborne Blading Academy by doing what we do best, skate! Sausage sizzle and byo drinks, we hope to see you there and thank you for all your support these last 3 years, we love and appreciate you all!

Over the weekend, the were held at the amazing Albury skatepark where skaters from all over Australia gathered to battle it out in the under 16 or Open categories for the title of best in the country. Proud to say our boy who has been learning under for the last couple of years and really pushing himself on his own too, took out the title as best under 16 in Australia. He was our only youth competitor and won against some tough competition. He is now on his way to Japan to compete in the games representing Australia and and we honestly couldn't be more excited and proud of him. We know he'll give it his best and wish him good luck on behalf of the whole team.
Congratulations again Hal. Absolute legend with big things to come! And big thanks to the boys for putting on such a great event

What a crazy weekend! On Saturday the 7th of December, 2024 the Australian Rolling Open was held at indoor skatepark in Tuggerah. We had majority of the team there competing and we got some great results. First event was the Junior bowl and the kids in the blistering heat went through 3 x 45 second runs with Lucas taking first place and Leo second while our good friend got the bronze. The kids then proceeded to put on a show for us in the Junior park category with everyone smashing their runs making it really hard for the judges to score. Leo took out 3rd place with older Lucas getting second and having a great year competition wise, getting his second win of the year and taking the junior title.
Next up was th Bladies and our girls went head to head and got the silver with new Airborne rider getting the gold and becoming the new women's champion.
And lastly our OGs getting the 3rd place with destroying that park and taking 2nd.
It was a long, hot and sweaty day but totally worth the drive up from Sydney. As event holders ourselves, we know what goes into putting on an event this big and we have to shout out for doing it solo this year and absolutely killing it. It's not easy doing the livestreaming, judging, emceeing and running around all at once so we are totally appreciative of the hard work you put in to making the ARO happen. Also to for helping with the judging and throwing up the cash alongside with a last minute top up contribution for best trick prize. You guys rock! Our boys and came up and skated like champions, you guys are great role models for the kids too and it's an honour having you there representing us. πŸ™ŒπŸ’ͺ
Lastly, a big thanks to the parents of our juniors who are constantly driving the kids to training sessions and lessons and meet ups and feeding them and really supporting the boys and girls follow their passion for blading. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Your dedication to them doesn't go unnoticed.
We can't wait to see everyone in 2025 levelling up! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Today we celebrated 2 years of Airborne Blading Academy in business. We are a rollerblading academy that focuses on teaching and pushing aggressive inline skating. Our goal is to keep the discipline alive and flourishing and to do that we have also ventured into hosting events and competitions as well as sponsoring bladers. Last year we announced our first sponsored riders in the adults and juniors teams. and were our first adult riders and and made up our juniors team. Every year we want to give an opportunity to add more riders to our teams, people we think love nothing more than Blading and we are proud to announce that we have two adults and two juniors joining us. and have been added to the adults and ._.viber and have joined our juniors.
We love their skating and dedication and we can't wait to see them shredding it up in their airborne gear. Skating is meant to be fun and a way of expressing ourselves. With such a talented bunch we hope to entertain and inspire you all with some amazing skating. On behalf of our coaches and staff, welcome to our new riders. 2025 is going to be a wild ride. Heroes aren't made, they're Airborne! ✌️

Only 3 of our riders managed to get up to Brisbane for 7 this year but man did they perform. It's always fun to skate with Australians best skaters and this year was just that. Turn out was crazy, the fact that so many made the trip and then the skating was so next level shows how much skating means to everyone and how important competitions are. The judges had a tough job deciding who was in the opens finals but we are so proud of our boys and for making it. You guys skated incredibly! Coach got third in the OGs which was a great result as well. Watching everyone skate though is something else, the quality and consistency of everyone is inspiring and we only hope that we can get our youth riders to that level as a skating school. and put on another amazing event and we salute you as well as all the sponsors who helped them make it possible. We love rollerblading and we can't wait to come back and do it all again next year.

Less than two weeks to go!

We are proud to support this year alongside all the local shops and brands that keep our sport and industry alive. Last year's event was amazing and we can't wait to fly up from Sydney and do it all again.
Shout out to the organisers, we know how much work goes into events like this and we are grateful to have competitions still on to test Australias best skaters.
See you all there!

Last Saturday, we travelled to to support and compete in the in Morton Park, Christie Downs SA. We had 6 riders from our Academy compete and they all skated their hearts out on a very very hot day.

Big thanks to the organisers and team there for getting it all together and including us, we were very proud to have our name associated with this great competition. Also, big thank you to the parents of our youth riders who made it possible for them to come down and compete, their constant support and dedication to their children is commended, with whom without the future of rollerblading wouldn't look so bright. πŸ‘πŸ‘

We had a great time there and everybody put their all in.

In the under 18s category won his first ever competition and Lucas came in third.

Our student Abigail ._.viber came second in the Bladies in her first ever competition.

Coach came third in the OG category.

took out second in both the amateur and Opens

All in all a great result for us and a big congratulations to everyone who competed as it was tight competition in all categories.

Once again thanks to all the judges, organisers, competitors, spectators, friends and family for a great event. We hope to be back back next year for another one. ✌️😊
