Alright everyone, it's a bit short notice, but we need your help!

Now that the works have started on Blenheim park, we have been asked to relocate all our gear from the amenities block into temporary storage.

Also we have to remove the loop from the track and clear out anything we are keeping from behind the driver's stand.

We will have access on site from 3pm tomorrow, and need as many people as we can get.

Any help we can get will be much appreciated. Please let us know down below if you can lend a hand👇

2026 Memberships are open!

Although we are not racing currently, we have continued to pay our RCRA affiliation and therefore our members still eligible to compete in RCRA sanctioned events.

We carried 2024 memberships into 2025, so we won't be doing that again.

For the moment the membership money will be used to cover RCRA fees until we get back to racing!

🚨 Sydney RC Car Club Update 🚨

Hi Everyone,

The excitement of the 1/10 EP IFMAR World Titles at Hills Offroad in October is starting to seem like a distant memory and as the year draws to a close it’s time to provide an update regarding our track in Blenheim Park.

The Blenheim Park Masterplan remains in place with a total redevelopment of the park including a new RC Car track.

Ryde Council in conjunction with the EPA have now refined & completed the Scope of Works & RFQ’s. These were submitted for final approval on Monday 1st December.

The works will commence late Jan/early Feb 2026 and will be completed in stages throughout 2026, starting with the area’s furthest from Blenheim Road and finishing with the new track and new car parking on Blenheim Road.

At this time it is expected that works will take all of 2026 to complete and the park will reopen early in 2027.

Whilst this isn’t great news for racing in 2026, and will mean our club will have been closed for 2 1/2 years, we are sure the end result will be worth it and encourage all of our members to support our neighbouring tracks in castle Hill and St Ives.

The City of Ryde Council have committed to keep their social media and website updated with progress of the redevelopment and we will continue to provide updates as we have them.

In the meantime, we'll see you at a track somewhere!

Hi all, we are hosting a small night meeting this Saturday afternoon/night. Limited classes and one class per person. Spaces are limited, so please contact me if you want to enter.

Date - 15th November
Time - 4pm - 9:30
Cost - $5 cash only, one class only
Classes - 4wd Mod/stock, 2w Mod/Stock, Vintage 21.5, Vintage TT
Race Format - All heats will be heads up racing.
Rego - 4pm, racing from 4:30pm

With the ACT Titles unfortunately cancelled, IRC Off Road in Albion park is offering a 10th scale class for anyone wanting a fix of 10th scale dirt racing. Already a few Sydney guys entered. See you there!

🚨Blenheim Park update🚨

We mentioned during our AGM this week that we had recently been in contact with council regarding the current situation in Blenheim Park.

We received information on Thursday evening regarding the current outlook and it's pretty positive. So here's the official update:

The Blenheim Park “Remediation Action Plan” is currently being finalised.

The latest news from The City of Ryde Council is that our new track has been stepped up to Stage 1 of the redevelopment works (was previously stage 2).

The timeline for the works (at this stage) will see 10% completion by early/mid September 2025.

The entire park redevelopment is due to be completed by early 2027 at this stage (subject to weather etc).

At this time we don’t have information when Stage 1 will be completed and will continue to provide updates when we have them. We would like to thank the council for their continued support and transparency on this Project.

In the interim please support you other local clubs in St Ives and Castle Hil

We will keep everyone updated with any news as it becomes available, but we are working away in the background to ensure we get back to business as soon and as smoothly as possible

It was the worlds warmup event at Hills Off Road RC over the weekend and our Sydney RC members had a strong showing to say the least

Our current club treasurer Lachlan Donnelly RC took the TQ and Win in both classes against the world's best.
