💫 Beginner Acro & Tumbling Program
💫 A class designed to help the girls learn, develop and master the basics of tumbling, such as handstands, cartwheels and backbends/ walkovers.
💫 There’s also a strong focus on strength & flexibility – which go hand in hand when training these important skills (which are the building blocks for future progression & success). The Beginner class is a great pathway from the Gymnastics Fun program as well as serving a welcoming place for newbies to get started with as it pertains to their tumbling journey.

🤸♀️ Handstand Class
☑️ A compact 60-minute class that’s accomodating for the beginner (who have never done a handstand) as well as those that are confident with handstands but seeking more coaching cues and technique.
☑️ The first 30 minutes is dedicated to body preparation (mobility, flexibility & strength), which is specific (and integral) to preparing the body for handstands and long term success with the skill.
Come and join us every Tuesday at 6:30pm and learn something new that will get you out of your comfort zone!

➩ In our classes we go the extra step to make sure our teens are learning to activate and switch on the correct muscles before engaging in exercise.
➩ Goblet squats are a full-body movement. They work your quads, calves, glutes, and entire core, and your arms and grip strength because you're holding onto the weight

⚽This program is perfect for the Teen that plays sport and looking for that competitive edge when it comes to physical preparation (i.e strength, mobility, agility & stability).
🎾Similar to the Teens Strength Development program, this 45-minute class also largely focuses on building strength (via bodyweight & weighted exercises) combined with working on specific mobility, pre-hab, and core exercises that’s designed to build your Teen a more bullet proof body, and ultimately make them an even better athlete!

💁♀️ Girls doing a banded single leg hip trust, a great exercise to strengthen the glutes, with this single leg variation they get a bigger contraction in the glutes and avoid any lower back stress.

★ Ben started the business back in mid-2016, with the aim of using the last 25+ years of gymnastics knowledge & experience (17 of those being a coach) to help adults & kids achieve specific goals as it pertains to strength, mobility, fitness and specific skill work.
★ The training and experience Ben has across both the fitness industry & gymnastics world, has been evident through great client results, as well as the creation of an amazing community of people that have stayed loyal for almost 5 years now.
★ Ben's created a great culture at Modbod where good technique, self regulation, longevity and consistent focus on core, mobility & pre-hab, truely makes us different from the "go hard & heavy mentality". This effectively allows anyone to train with us, enabling the ability to scale exercises where needed and not feel pressured into something they're simply mot ready for yet.
★ Modbod is a gym where the whole family can come train together (young & old), people are educated into learning how to move their body better (i.e engaging key muscles, working correct progressions), you can learn new skills as well as lose weight, lean up and get super fit!
★ In Mid 2020, Ben launched Modbod Kids (which has been a great success), and also just recently launched Modbod Teens! We now have people from ages of 3 to 60 all training in the same gym in their respective classes.
★ Modbod is an evolving story and we're only just getting started! Ben can't wait to reveal the next steps in making the gym an even better place to come...only a few weeks away now:)
