THE EXPERIENCED PLAYERS WILL GET US ACROSS THE LINE

Our 2026 season fell apart when Doueihi dislocated his shoulder scoring against Cronulla. No team can be competitive in the NRL with their entire starting spine, and their two starting edge forwards all out. Tigers were a top 8 side this year before we lost virtually half of our starting 13 for the last two thirds of the season. All teams have injuries, but we had so many key positions out, and so many at the same time. The NRL is far too competitive for any team to survive that and still make the top eight.
Injuries devastated the Wests Tigers.

IT's GAME DAY
WESTS TIGERS v Penrith Panthers
Round 27

It's the last game of the 2026 regular season, and Wests Tigers face off against arch rivals Penrith. The two big cats, Tigers v Panthers will fight the battle of the west this arvo at Commbank to close out the NRL season.

It has not the season Wests Tigers had hoped for. The first seven rounds brought so much promise, before a series of crippling injuries, suspensions, and constroverial calls resigned the Tigers to a bottom nine finish.

Although Wests Tigers cannot finish higher than 13th, an upset win will end Penrith's ambition of taking the minor Premiership, and leave Tigers' fans with some pride in the colours. 🧡🤍🖤
