Last weekend, our Timor Oans proudly took part in an exhibition match of Oztag, celebrating 50 years since the first arrival of Timorese refugees in Australia.

A huge thank you to for the opportunity to showcase our unity and cultural pride through sport — especially through a game not as commonly played in our community as soccer.

We honour and reflect on the past 50 years, and we look forward with hope and pride to the next 50 as we continue to grow, represent, and build together. ❤️🇹🇱

Year 2 in the books for our WOMEN’S OPENS, and the girls truly stepped it up this year.

Incredibly proud of their efforts across our 6 games, persevering through challenges and putting up a strong, competitive fight each time. The sisterhood stayed alive both on and off the field, and we learnt so much together along the way.

Massive congratulations to all our debutants, especially the young guns coming through and competing at the Opens level.

Men’s 30s — what a ride. Let these photos depict what this weekend was about. And what it meant to us to be able to showcase our country through the game of tag. representing our culture, pushing through tired legs, and finding that extra gear when it counted. Every game, we backed each other, lifted each other, and left it all on the field. Proud of this group of blokes who play with heart, respect, and a love for what we represent. The bonds and brotherhood built through this campaign will forever be unmatched, and giving our hammys, knees and tight calves allow us, we can’t wait to run it back next tournament “anyone can get it 😤”

Last week, Timor Tag Australia proudly hosted our Community Presentation Day for ITS 2025! 🤩

We had the joy of presenting our amazing teams, coaches, managers, and captains—surrounded by the unwavering support of our incredible community of family, friends, and players. 💛

In Timor Tag tradition, we also witnessed a heartfelt moment as our former Flag Bearer .77 passed on the honour to our new Flag Bearer for the ITS 2025 tournament 🇹🇱 A touching and powerful close to the day’s formalities 💪🏾🤝
