Someone walks through the door who used to be really fit. Late 20s, they were strong, capable and felt good in their body. Then life happened the way it does - kids, career, the mortgage - and somewhere along the way they stopped being a priority on their own list.

They’ve tried to get back. The gym membership that became a direct debit they stopped thinking about. The app that worked for two weeks. The running phase that didn’t survive winter. And every time it doesn’t stick they tell themselves it’s a willpower problem. That they just don’t have what it takes anymore.

But that’s not it. Training alone, without structure, without someone who knows your name and notices when you don’t show up, is genuinely hard to sustain. That’s not a character flaw, that’s just reality.

At Forte every session is coached, every movement scales to where you’re at right now and you train alongside the same people week after week. That consistency is what makes it different and it’s why most of our members say it’s the first gym they’ve actually stayed with.

What’s kept you from getting back to where you want to be? 👇🏻

September Committed Club is a wrap and another month of the crew showing up consistently and putting the work in regardless of what life threw at them.

Congratulations to Lucy who takes home this month’s prize - a Soak Bathhouse & Urban Oasis gift card. Very well deserved 🏆

October resets now. Let’s see what you bring 👀

These aren’t elaborate meal prep recipes or anything you’d see on a food blog. They’re just the kind of meals that actually work when you’re training three times a week, working full time and trying to keep everything else from falling apart at the same time.

Quick to make, enough protein to support your training and simple enough that you’ll actually cook them on a Wednesday night when you’ve got nothing left in the tank.

This is the kind of thing we talk about with members when it comes to nutrition at Forte. Not tracking apps or complicated macro targets, just a handful of meals you can rotate without thinking too hard about it.

Because the best nutrition approach is always the one you’ll actually stick to when life gets busy.

DM us SNACKS and we’ll send you some ideas 😉

Every time someone new joins Forte we give them the same piece of advice in week one and most people nod along but don’t really take it on board until they see what happens to the ones who do.

The ones who scale from the start, let the coaches adjust their loads and trust the process even when it feels too easy end up lifting more than the people who went hard from day one by week six. No injuries, consistent attendance and they actually want to be there.

The ones who ignore it push through movements they shouldn’t, skip the scaling and are usually gone by week four.

Your body isn’t the same as it was years ago and neither is your life. The approach has to change too and that’s not a setback, it’s just where you’re starting from.

Swipe through to see what that actually looks like in practice 👆🏻

If you’ve tried group training before and quietly stopped showing up, you’re not alone and it probably wasn’t your fault.

Most group classes give everyone the same weights, the same movements and the same pace regardless of where they’re actually at. If you were coming back after time off, carrying an old injury or just not as fit as the person next to you, the format was never going to work for you.

At Forte everything scales to where you are right now. Not where you think you should be, not where you were ten years ago. Your coaches watch, adjust and make sure you’re being pushed at the right level every single session.

If group training has never clicked before, this might be why.

One of the most common things we hear before someone joins Forte is the worry that they’ll hold everyone back or on the flip side, that they won’t actually be pushed enough.

Last week a 60 year old joined his third ever class and trained side by side with people who have been doing this for a decade. Same room, same energy, completely different ex*****on. Both got exactly what they needed and neither noticed the difference.

That’s not a coincidence. Every movement at Forte has a progression and a regression, every load is adjustable and your coach is watching to make sure you’re working at the right level for you today, not for the person next to you.

What’s stopped you from trying before? Drop it below, genuinely want to know 👇🏻

If you've restarted your fitness journey more than once you're not alone and you're definitely not broken.

What keeps most people stuck in that cycle isn't laziness or lack of willpower.

It's the absence of a structure that works around real life rather than against it.

When training has a time, a place, familiar faces and coaches who notice when you're not there, it stops being something you have to motivate yourself to do and starts being something you just do.

That's what our members found here. Not a perfect version of themselves. Just a system that finally stuck.
