⭐ Meet the Committee – Eric Lam, President

If you've spent time around Wenty Leagues Table Tennis over the past two decades, chances are you've met Eric.

A club member since around 2007, Eric has dedicated countless hours to helping shape the club into the welcoming and inclusive community it is today. As President, he takes great pride in the club and is passionate about creating an environment where players of all ages and abilities can enjoy table tennis.

One of Eric's greatest passions is developing the next generation of players. Whether it's introducing newcomers to the sport, supporting junior development, or recruiting new talent to the club, he loves seeing players improve and become part of the Wenty community.

For Eric, the people are what make the club special. The friendships, the inclusive culture, the dedication of our volunteers, and the atmosphere on competition nights are what continue to motivate him after all these years.

Away from the table, Eric enjoys volunteering, cooking with fresh produce from his own garden, unwinding with his favourite Game of Thrones game, and sharing stories from his younger years.
