MEDIA RELEASE | Richmond Welcomes City Racing Announcement

The Board of Richmond Race Club recognises and supports the announcement made today by Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) which confirms the Richmond Race Club site will become the permanent home of City greyhound racing in NSW.

The Board and Members are excited about the opportunity to host City greyhound racing on a fulltime basis, and provide certainty for the sport.

The Board acknowledges the considerable work by GRNSW and Deloitte in coming to this decision.

The Richmond Board has progressively invested in infrastructure in recent years with an objective of becoming a 'hub' for all components of our sport, and today's announcement is an excellent endorsement of the Club's approach and focus.

The Board of Richmond Race Club firmly believe this is an opportunity to deliver greyhound racing for future generations, and is committed to working with GRNSW to finalise details of both the investment and facilities, to ensure it is NSW and Australia's Premier greyhound racing experience.
