Yesterday was all about having some fun, making new friends and enjoying what a World Series experience is all about!

Our Aussie Drop Bears joined up with the New Zealand team, along with a few players from the FCA Lumberjacks and Pacific Southwest teams, for something a little different.

An ‘Aussie Rules’ scratch match, a very competitive Mum Home Run Derby, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of fun!

After a week of intense competition, it was great to see players from different teams and countries come together, enjoy the game and build friendships away from the pressure of tournament play.

These are the moments that make trips like this so special.

Different teams. Different countries. One game bringing everyone together.

And we’re pretty sure the mums enjoyed their moment in the spotlight too!

PLAYER OF THE GAME | WILSON GLOVER 🇦🇺⚾

Congratulations to #2 Wilson Glover, our Player of the Game from our final World Series matchup against Orange Grove, Texas.

In a game where the Drop Bears continued to fight right through to the final out, Wilson stepped up and delivered a performance worthy of our final Player of the Game honour of the tournament.

It’s a special recognition to finish an incredible World Series experience representing Australia on the international stage.

From the first game to the last, these boys have continued to learn, develop and compete, and Wilson’s performance today was another example of the fight this group has shown throughout the tournament.

Congratulations Wilson on a well deserved Player of the Game!

GAME 6 | OUR FINAL GAME 🇦🇺⚾

Our 14U Aussie Drop Bears World Series campaign has come to an end, but not without one final fight from this group of boys.

Taking on Orange Grove, Texas, we may have gone down 8 to 1, but as they have done throughout this entire tournament, the boys never gave up and competed right to the final out.

From some incredibly tough opening games to breaking through for that memorable win against Panama, this group has continued to learn, improve and come together with every game.

After the game, it was time to come together away from the diamond with a team dinner at tournament sponsor Texas Roadhouse.

The team was treated to fabulous food, fantastic service and even a little line dancing thrown in for good measure!

A great way to finish the day and celebrate the friendships and memories created during an experience these boys will remember for a lifetime.
