Is weight lifting worth the effort?????

Absolutely! But let's be honest: it's not always easy.
However…
The benefits are a LOT!
- It can help you build muscle and burn fat,
- Improve your metabolism,
- Reduce stress and anxiety,
- Strengthen bones and muscles,
- Boost your mood and confidence,
- helps to keep your body from ageing as quickly,
- Stabilising your joints and strengthening the body to prevent injuries
- Help prevent diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis to name a few
Not only will this help you look better and feel better about yourself, but it can also improve your overall quality of life!

Weight lifting is an amazing way to feel great, and get healthy if you are SMART about it. Just like any other exercise, weightlifting is only going to provide benefits for you if you do it correctly. It's definitely worth the effort!

So before starting weightlifting, here are some of our favourite tips to consider:
1, Have a plan before starting anything new (even if it's just planning out how often and when you'll work out).
2. Always focus on form over speed—you'll get more out of your workout if you take care not to injure yourself while doing so!
3. Don't give up—if something doesn't seem easy at first, keep practising until it gets easier!

So how do you get started?

Start small with a lighter weight, or even no weights until you get the technique right. Focus on form, not speed or strength; make sure you're doing each rep correctly before moving on to another weight or exercise. And remember to take breaks—your muscles will fatigue quickly if you try too much too soon!
