Kryptonites delivered a commanding performance to secure a dominant 80-run victory in their BCL 2026 campaign opener.
Batting first, Kryptonites set the tone early despite a quick wicket of Big Monster Hossain, before captain fantastic Mondal took control of the innings. His outstanding 97 (53) was a true leaderโs knock โ composed, aggressive, and perfectly timed.
He was well supported by our BCL regular top gun Hasan, who continued his consistent form with a fluent 44, building strong momentum through the middle overs.
The presence and guidance from the Monster Riyad added great stability and leadership on the field, keeping the team focused and composed throughout the innings.
Adding to the energy, it was truly eye-catching to see the impact of our long-term coach and mentor Ariful Hasan Sobuj, who was present on the ground, inspiring the team and lifting the overall intensity. The belief and spirit across the squad were clearly visible.
Defending 185, Kryptonites bowlers backed up the batting effort with discipline and control. Tight lines, sharp fielding, and consistent pressure ensured Wollongong Fury never got close to the target, restricting them to 105/9 in 20 overs.
A complete team performance โ strong leadership, solid batting, and clinical ex*****on with the ball.
