Recently the club President Peta, was invited to represent North Curl Curl SLSC by Federal MP Zali Steggall to attend a round table discussion with other local Surf Club Presidents, business owners, environmental groups and scientists. Many integral conversations we held around beach safety and environmental impacts on our coastlines, with the importance of Surf Life Saving and the work we are doing being a key takeaway.

Friday:
-Bottles is on! Come get a meal and a drink!

Saturday:
-Skills Maintenance is on - make sure you book in!
-Nipper swim proficiency at in2swim for U8’s and any new starter from U9’s up!

Sunday:
-Nippers is BACK ON for the season. YEW!
-Bottles is open.

Remember to swim between the red and yellow flags!

SKILLS MAINTENANCE TIME!!!

Please enrol online in one session as soon as possible to make sure you get your first choice and to help our planning.

Before your practical session:
1. Renew your club membership for the 2026/27 season.
2. Register for a Skills Maintenance session through the SLS eLearning portal under TRAINING EVENTS.
3. Complete the online theory for your award(s) BEFORE you arrive. If it isn’t done, you can’t take part in the practical.
4. Bring your own resuscitation mask.

On the day:
The practical has a dry component and a water component, so bring swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes. You don’t need to wear patrol uniform.

Don’t forget this Saturday, for anyone in U8 or U9 or new to the club, we’ll see you at In2Swim, Brookvale on 10 Oct, for this season’s Swim Proficiency - drop in anytime between 3:30pm and 5:30pm. Pool entry is free. There is a back-up day for those who cannot make the 10 Oct – same place and time on the 17 Oct. It usually takes less than 30 mins.
