Welcome to the Official Facebook of Rockdale Ilinden Football Club. The club was founded in 1969 by a group of Macedonian Australians.
The club has grown considerably since its establishment and currently competes in the most elite football competition in the state of NSW.

Statement
Rockdale Ilinden wishes to confirm that our current first grade head coach Paul Dee will depart the club at the conclusion of the current 2026 NPL season.
Paul is a former player and has been with the Club as head coach now for four seasons. During that time, he oversaw a period of sustained succss which included a maiden first grade premiership in 2024, as well as two grand finals.
We would like to thank Paul for his contribution to the Club.
As one door closes, another door opens and we are delighted to officially announce that Abbas Saad has been appointed as our new head coach for the 2027 NPL season.
Abbas brings a wealth of experience and has a proven track record in developing players. His playing career spanned two decades and included a highly successful stint in Singapore.
As a coach, he achieved the championship double with Sydney Olympic in 2018, a year in which he was named Football NSW coach of the year.
More recently, he was the head coach of the Central Coast Mariners academy team.
He is the holder of a Pro Licence.
We are delighted to have Abbas on board and look forward to seeing the team take to the field under his guidance.
