SilverSword Fencing Academy
Fencing is the recreational sport. Fencing is both a physical and a mental workout. Silversword Academy of Fencing established in 2002.
Silversword prim objective is to teach young people the art of fencing. Fencing is considered a western martial art. Silversword specifically promotes character building of young adults and teaching kids how to be brave hearted while having respect. Silversword Academy of Fencing trains athlete at the national and international calibre and will continue to do so with the help of its great coaches and support of the parents.. We train on Thursdays (5-6:30) and Sundays(9-11) at Daceyville PCYC.

🔥 Back on the piste — and unstoppable! 🔥
Just one day after winning Silver in the U15 State Championships, Jozal Karpour stepped up again to compete in the U20 State Championships — this time against older, stronger and more experienced athletes.
Despite being injured and exhausted from yesterday’s finals, Jozal fought with grit, heart and determination, finishing 5th in the state. ⚔️💪
Results matter, but character matters more — and Jozal showed what true resilience looks like. We could not be prouder. ❤️
This is only the beginning. Onward to the next challenge! ⚔️

🥈 Silver for SilverSword! ⚔️ 🔥
A huge congratulations to Jozal Karpour who won Silver Medal at the U15 State Championships today! Her focus, discipline, and fearless fencing carried her all the way to the podium — an incredible performance.
A massive shout-out as well to Loredana Garner, who fenced brilliantly throughout the day and represented SilverSword Fencing Academy with strength, heart, and outstanding sportsmanship. 🌟
Both athletes showed what dedication and hard work look like — we are proud beyond words. This is just the beginning for these two rising champions! 💪⚔️

Issy brings home Bronze 🥉 at the NSW State U11 Championships!
From sharp distance control to fearless attacks, Issy fenced with maturity beyond years. Massive effort, beautiful spirit- well done Issy! Huge thanks to training partners for support. 💙
