MiniRoos returns for Term 1 in 2026, with registrations now open for an 8-week program at Valentine Sports Park. Due to school term scheduling and venue availability, the Term 1 program will run across the following dates and times:

Valentine Sports Park recently played host to the annual Australian Defence Force Sports National Football Championships, a true celebration of football, service, and community spirit.

Over the course of 10–17 October, the week-long event gathered players from across Australia's Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as the New Zealand Army Combined Team, showcasing incredible talent, teamwork, and camaraderie.

Expressions of interest are open for the next edition of Corporate Kick-Off at Valentine Sports Park!

Held during lunch time on weekdays, the small-sided football competition provides a fun, social opportunity to get outdoors and get fit alongside your colleagues.

2024 football4all Gala Day 10/06/2025

Valentine Sports Park will host the annual Football4All Gala Day on 15 June 2025, this will impact traffic and parking, therefore please allow additional travel time.

This is a Football NSW initiative introduced in 2008, the Football4All Gala Day is a fantastic, inclusive event that celebrates the fun, friendship, and happiness that football brings to people of all backgrounds and abilities. It’s a day where everyone can come together, enjoy the game, and experience the true spirit of community through football with family and friends.

CIS Football Cup - Semi-Finals 10/06/2025

Valentine Sports Park will host the Combined Independent Schools (CIS) Football semi-finals on 11 June 2025, this will impact traffic and parking, therefore please allow additional travel time.

The CIS Senior Finals are a significant event in the NSW independent school football landscape, with the girls PLATE semi-final kicking off at 12 pm, the boys PLATE semi-final at 2 pm, the girls CUP semi-final at 4 pm, and the boys CUP semi-final at 6 pm, https://www.cis.nsw.edu.au/events/278450

These semi-finals are part of the broader NSW CIS Football Cup. The CIS Football Cup is a state-wide competition that provides a pathway for independent school teams to compete at a high level. The winners of the semi-finals will progress to the finals, with the boys and girls CUP winners being determined in separate finals. The winners of the NSW CIS Football Cup can also represent their school in the NSW All Schools Football Championships.

Wellington Women’s winning preparations at VSP - Valentine Sports Park 01/12/2024

True to its status as the Home of Football in NSW, Valentine Sports Park (VSP) recently played host to the Wellington Phoenix Women’s team in the midst of their 2024/25 Ninja A-League season.

Following a challenging start to the season, the Phoenix utilised VSP’s turf fields and training facilities over three days as part of the team’s preparations for a Unite Round match against Adelaide United.

It turned out to be a successful formula with the Wellington outfit going on to register their first victory of the season, defeating Adelaide 1-0.

Valentine Sports Park was a hive of activity as it played host to the inaugural Football NSW Junior Development Cup on the 16th and 17th of July.

Over fifty teams from around NSW took part across the competition categories, with well over 1000 attendees soaking in the sights and sounds of quality youth football being played.

After more than 100 hard-fought matches were played, the inaugural Junior Development Cup Champions were crowned with St George City (U10 Mixed), Macarthur Rams (U11 Girls), Southern Districts SFA (U12 Mixed) and Girls with Goals Football (U13 Girls) taking out their respective titles.

Registrations are now open for Term 3 MiniRoos Kick-Off at Valentine Sports Park!

MiniRoos Kick-Off is a fun, safe introductory program designed for boys and girls aged under 4 to 11 (turning 4 in 2024). Weekly sessions build skills through games and simple drills.

Sessions are available on Monday afternoons (Under 4 to 11) and Tuesday mornings (Under 4 to 6) from July 22nd/23rd!

Participants also receive a MiniRoos t-shirt, football, and certificate as part of their registration.
