π 30 ground donkey kicks (15 each side)
π 15 sumo squats
π 15 second squat hold (then pulse for 15)
π 30 fire hydrants (15 each side)
π 30 walking lunges (15 each side)
Repeat 3x times! We're feeling perky just thinking about it.

We talk a lot about the importance of working out on this page, but just as important is knowing when to REST π
Here are 3 reasons why you should take 1-2 rest days throughout the week:
πͺ It's necessary for muscle growth
π€ Reduces your risk of injury
π And finally, resting allows for better performance when you are training
So kick those feet up and call it a day!

HA! But in all seriousness, working out in the morning has been proven time and time again to BOOST those energy levels throughout the day and increase endorphins (those happy hormones), which let's face it... we all need right now!

The 'secret' to getting results? Repeat after me... Consistency, consistency .... consistency! So how do we achieve this?
1 # Flexibility
Stay flexible. No, we're not asking you to do the splits! Allow yourself the natural changes in your schedule. For example, your child has a doctor's appointment; move your workout to an afternoon walk in the park!
If your routine is too rigid, you're setting yourself up to fail. Life is messy and your ability to work around it is essential to staying consistent.

It's that time again! That's right, it's glossary time!
Today's word: CIRCUIT πββοΈ
Think of this as a βroundβ of exercises. For example, one circuit could consist of 5 burpees, 10 push-ups, 15 planks, and 20 jump squats. The aim of the game here is to move from each exercise right to the next with minimal rest in between.
This will get your heart rate right up and help you burn calories AFTER your workout π "WHILE I'm eating my lunch, several hours later?" Yep, you heard correctly!
