Signed - Another junior returns - Welcome To Bonnyrigg White Eagles - Andre Takami!

Bonnyrigg White Eagles are proud to announce the signing of Andre Takami, with the talented midfielder returning to the club where his football journey began.

A product of the Bonnyrigg pathway, Andre returns home after establishing himself at NPL level, most recently with NWS Spirit, while also gaining valuable experience with Wollongong Wolves FC. A composed and technically gifted midfielder, Andre has consistently demonstrated his quality against some of the strongest competition in NSW football, earning a reputation for his work rate, intelligence on the ball, and ability to influence matches from the middle of the park.

Andre's return represents another significant step in the continued strengthening of our squad and highlights the appeal of the project being built at Bonnyrigg. Bringing together local talent, proven quality, and players with a genuine connection to our club, remains a key part of our vision for the future.

For those who know our club, this is more than just a signing. It's the return of another Bonnyrigg junior who has developed, tested himself at the highest level of NSW football, and chosen to come back home.

Please join us in welcoming Andre and his family back to the White Eagles.

A Significant Milestone for Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC

On Sunday 4th October 2026, we proudly marked the official turning of the soil for the next chapter of our club's history.

Following the announcement of a $1 million NSW Government grant in June 2025, we have now commenced works that will deliver much-needed improvements to our facilities and help support the continued growth of football in our community.

These upgrades will include:
* New female home and away change rooms
* Upgraded lighting infrastructure - COMPLETED
* Improved facilities to support greater participation for women and girls in football
* A stronger platform for the future growth of our club and community

This project represents much more than bricks and mortar. It is an investment in our players, our families, our volunteers, and the thousands of people who call Bonnyrigg White Eagles home.

We would like to sincerely thank Minister Steve Kamper, MP Nathan Hagarty, MP Tri Vo and MP Charishma Kaliyanda for joining us on Sunday and for their ongoing support of grassroots sport and community infrastructure.

To everyone who has contributed to getting us to this point, thank you. After years of planning, advocacy and hard work, it is exciting to see this vision becoming a reality.

The future is bright at Bonnyrigg White Eagles, and we can't wait to share the journey with our community as these works continue.

Kara Kup 2026 may not have delivered the results we were chasing on the field, but what it did deliver was invaluable experience for a young group proudly representing Bonnyrigg White Eagles.

This year, we entrusted a number of our emerging players with the opportunity to wear the BWE colours on one of the biggest stages in Serbian football, and we couldn't be prouder of the effort, commitment and heart they showed throughout the tournament.

Many of these young men will play an important role in the future of our club, and we have no doubt they will return stronger, wiser and better for the experience.

Because Kara Kup has always been about more than wins and losses.

It's about community. It's about heritage. It's about bringing Serbian clubs and people together while celebrating a proud football tradition that spans generations.

To our brothers at St George Willawong, thank you for hosting an outstanding tournament and for the warm hospitality shown to our players, supporters and club officials throughout the week. We wish you every success in the 2027 season.

A special thank you also to our major sponsor Matic Construction for their continued support, loyalty and commitment to our club. Your backing allows opportunities like this to become a reality.

The lessons have been learned. The foundations have been laid.

Kara Kup 2027... we're coming back stronger.
