Lindfield Junior Rugby Club Established in 1920 Lindfield Junior Rugby Club is based in Sydney Australia
Boys and Girls Club Playing with LJRC. Selection.

We welcome players of all abilities and gender. This however is subject to adherence with the SJRU Competition rules. We reserve the right to limit numbers within age groups where we would not be able to field a full team. In Minis from Under 6s to Unders 9’s, players and teams are not graded. In under 10’s to Opens players are graded on their ability to demonstrate the basic skills of the game, skills necessary for the particular position selected, their ability to participate in a team environment and potential for future development. Team Grading: In under 10’s to Opens, the club will assess each team on its merits and request appropriate grading in the Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SJRU) competition. The objective is a grade where players enjoy their rugby and are competitive. We don't focus on a team in every A grade nor measure success by the number of grand final wins. We believe players should play at a standard where they are appropriately challenged and provided with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop their skills. Playing time: LJRC firmly encourages equal game time for all players in a squad. The club recognizes at certain times, Coaches and Managers may wish to field the strongest side possible. Where this is done, team management will consult with the players and parents with game time expectations understood and agreed to before game day. Code of conduct: LJRC fully supports the NSWJRU Code of Conduct available athttp://juniors.rugbynet.com.au/verve/_resources/1.4_NSWJRU_Code_of_Conduct_FINAL.pdf

The Lindfield tradition: "Building friendships, skills and values for life."

✨The u11s and u12s played their first game last night on their Kawanishi tour after being washed out on Tuesday.

They have explored Osaka and had 2 days in Hiroshima. Kawanishi boys made 1000 paper cranes and Lindfield boys laid them at the memorial.

The boys and their parents have been very busy but it’s definitely been a successful start to the tour ✨

✨ A huge congratulations to three of our former Lindfield Juniors who have just represented the NSW Waratahs at the Santos Festival Of Rugby !

🏉 Sydney Davis — XVs
⚡ Lola Harvison — 7s
⚡ Georgia Wansey — 7s

We are also thrilled to welcome Sydney and Lola back to Lindfield as members of our girls’ coaching staff. They will be sharing their knowledge and experience to help inspire and develop the next generation of Lindfield Juniors.

We couldn’t be prouder to see these talented young women continuing their rugby journeys while giving back to the club where it all began.
