Team Grading: In under 10’s to Opens, the club will assess each team on its merits and request appropriate grading in the Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SJRU) competition. The objective is a grade where players enjoy their rugby and are competitive. We don't focus on a team in every A grade nor measure success by the number of grand final wins. We believe players should play at a standard where they are appropriately challenged and provided with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop their skills. Playing time: LJRC firmly encourages equal game time for all players in a squad. The club recognizes at certain times, Coaches and Managers may wish to field the strongest side possible. Where this is done, team management will consult with the players and parents with game time expectations understood and agreed to before game day.
