🌿Regeneration Day 2.0🌿

ON 1 OCT WE HIT SNOOZE 😴 TIME TO REVIVE, SO WE ARE READY FOR 11th OCTOBER!

It will mark the end of the long lockdown, which has been 13 weeks now - WOW - so we want to take a moment to look after ourselves. 
 
As it was so well received by the community and our amazing team of dedicated trainers back in August, we're bringing back regeneration day, to allow us all to stop and hit the reset button 🚨

We encourage you all to connect with nature, take time to revive your body and mind - whatever it is that fills your cup 🥛

We'll be back on Saturday with cups full of energy, so watch out for those classes! 

*There will be no Group classes, 1:1s PTs or Buddy sessions on the 1st October *

This Sunday, 31 July, I will be completing a MARATHON ROW (41.2km) to raise awareness for youth su***de prevention.

1 in 4 youth people in Australia are currently experiencing a mental health difficulty. The more concerning statistic is that 70% of those that need help don’t get it, which contributes to su***de being the leading cause of death in the young people of Australia. 

We all fight our internal battles sometimes but we are not alone. I know this will be one of my biggest mental (& physical) tests.

Let’s move together to raise money to help prevent youth su***de.  🏃🏼‍♀️💪🏼💦

1 in 4 youth people in Australia are currently experiencing a mental health difficulty. The more concerning statistic is that 70% of those that need help don’t get it, which contributes to su***de being the leading cause of death in the young people of Australia. 

We can all help by participating in "Run & Row for ReachOut” where our F45 members and trainers will donate $1 for every 1km they row or run (or walk) over the period of a week from the 26th of July until the 1st of August 2021.

4 Point Hold Supermans ☝🏽🔥

Our amazing showing great stability and core strength during one of our hardest movements in today’s session.

Why is this exercise great? 🔝

1. Sustains tension throughout the body which increases muscle break down. Which means increased muscle growth.

2. CORE STRENGTH - we always go on about turn on your core, engage during our larger compound movements such as a squat or deadlift. Well this movement has to have engagement otherwise you will not be stable.
As we learn to engage we also are able to decrease injury while lifting heavier weights.

3. Increases balance and ability of knowing your body and ensuring that all of the body is balanced and on during the eccentric and concentric phase of the movement. 🔥
