Another incredible week in the Northern Territory! π
This week, our journey took us to the communities of Warruwi on South Goulburn Island and Minjilang on Croker Island, both located in the stunning and remote region of West Arnhem Land, off the top of Australia.
A huge thank you to West Arnhem Regional Council, Warruwi Community School, Mamaruni School Croker Island, and the wider communities for warmly welcoming our coach, Gary, and embracing the Flag Football program with such enthusiasm and energy.
It has been fantastic to see students getting involved, learning new skills, building confidence and most importantly, having fun through sport.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this journey and to continue growing Flag Football in remote communities across the Northern Territory.
π Next stops: Gunbalanya (Oenpelli) and Jabiru (Kakadu) and we cannot wait!

It is fantastic to see schools embracing the sport of Flag Football!
A huge well done to Bray Park State High School for putting a unique spin on the traditional βState of Originβ concept and creating what looks to have been an incredible event for their students. π΄π΅
It is especially exciting to see students putting the skills they recently learned through their Year 12 Sport & Recreation Flag Football program into action to create such an engaging, energetic and school-spirited experience.
The photos tell the story really - the atmosphere looks amazing, the competition fierce, and most importantly β the students and spectators looked like they had an absolute blast! π
Congratulations to everyone involved, and well done to the staff for thinking outside the box and embracing one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. π
