In 2004 Bobbi and Ness opened “Sydney Pole Dancing School” (with 2 poles) in a “massage” parlor in Pitt St. Eight weeks later with over a 100 students we moved to a new studio in Castlereagh St and renamed it Bobbi’s Pole Studio (just in case we ever have another studio somewhere else, yeah right!)

This class is designed for Int 3–5 students who want to revisit and refine key moves like aerial inverts, leg hangs, handstands, and shoulder mounts, with the support and spotting you need to feel confident.

Static & Basework Tricks Workshop with

Missii will introduce dynamic static spin drills to elevate your warm-ups and build a greater understanding in momentum.
Students will also learn a selection of Missii’s go-to basework tricks, including handstands and shoulder stands.
Designed for Intermediate 4+ students, this workshop is ideal for those who feel confident upside down. No previous static pole experience is necessary.

Thinking of Bobbi today on her birthday.
If I hadn’t met Bobbi we wouldn’t have our Bobbi’s family who I adore! Miss Pole, Mr Pole, wouldn’t exist, weird to think about huh?
Her style really shaped pole dancing in Australia and I’m grateful to have met her 24 years ago!
