Wrap Up – Saturday Juniors 💙🖤🤍

After what started as a very foggy morning, it turned into an absolute cracker of a day!

It was only a short day at Parkes Ave today, but that’s okay. The BBQ was firing, the coffee was hot, the drinks were cold, and there were plenty of other tasty treats available throughout the morning.

Saturdays are all about our juniors, and what a fantastic effort we saw from everyone today! Our visiting teams were an absolute pleasure to host, and it was great to see such wonderful manners and respect shown by all of our young players.

There were plenty of goals, some outstanding saves, and sportsmanship on display that made us incredibly proud. We also loved seeing the smiles on the faces of this week’s Player of the Match recipients.

Well done to all of our junior teams today. No matter the result, we’re behind you every step of the way. Keep up the incredible teamwork, determination, and positive attitudes—we love watching you learn, grow, and develop each season.

HLFC would like to congratulate one of our U14 players, Cooper Towne, on his successful selection into the Nepean Football Association Inc. 2026 Youth Advisory Program.

This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of Cooper’s passion, commitment, and dedication to football both on and off the field. We know you will represent HLFC and all of our junior players with pride, and we are behind you every step of the way.

Cooper is a familiar face around our grounds, always showing great sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude. He is a valued member of our club, and this opportunity is a well-deserved recognition of his efforts and commitment to the game.

Unfortunately, Coach Rob is unable to make goalie training tonight. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Goalie training will not be running this evening, but Coach Rob will be back next week and looking forward to seeing all our goalkeepers then.

A huge good luck to these boys and girls representing their schools today at the Parramatta Diocese Soccer Gala Day! 🏆

It’s fantastic to see some of our HLFC players from our U10s through to U12s teams showcasing their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship on the field.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and hope you have an amazing day representing your schools. Play hard, support your teammates, and most importantly, enjoy your football!

If you’re playing today and representing another school, we wish you the very best of luck as well. We know you’ll do your schools, families, and club proud. 💙🤍🖤

⚽️ Weekend Wrap-Up ⚽️

Saturday may have started a little chilly for our juniors, but the sun was shining and it turned into a beautiful day for football.

We were proud to watch our teams display outstanding sportsmanship across the day. Seeing the progress our players make each week and each season as they grow and develop is one of the most rewarding parts of being involved in our club.

We haven’t had many photos sent in this week, so if you have any photos you’d like to share, please add them in the comments below. We’d love to see them!

Yesterday was Seniors Sunday, and unfortunately we missed handing out our Player of the Match awards. Don’t worry—we’ll make it up to you next time! The boys put in an amazing performance, and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination, and football they showed on the field.

We hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. Take the opportunity to rest, recover, and spend time with family and friends.
