Assistant coach Rocky once again proving very difficult to impress.
Personally I am very impressed with my good mate Douglas, making all sorts of progress in his second week of a life altering cleanse.
The man just loves chicken....

Tight hips??
The list of complications that come upstream and downstream from hip tension is seemingly endless.... everyone has a couch, so everyone can try this...

Bit of a change of pace in last night’s training.
– Reverse lunge on both sides, knee must touch the floor
–leap into pull up....chest must hit the bar
– Burpee, pop to your feet
Five times through for time.
The young bull was just too quick in the end..... I definitely need to stiffen those legs in the pull ups next time..
there will be a next time......
For years and years I was of the belief that it’s detrimental to the knees to track over the toes like in this video.... after a bit of outdoor running during the lockdown debacle my knees started to feel very 40years old... big shoutout to the guys at ... I’m still old, but the knees are feeling fat more youthful
Rocky insists he’s not on steroids, but every time he’s in the gym, I can’t help noticing he’s more aggressive...
Ever had that old school pain in the arse training partner, that thinks movement preparation is bu****it, and just wants to dive straight into lifting???

Deadlift EMOM. (Every minute on the minute)...
A very effect training method for working towards the higher end of your strength capacity, while also metabolically challenging due to the limited recovery.. If you watch the video you’ll notice breathing pretty heavily around the halfway mark even though he was nowhere near done...
You need to be careful with your exercise selection for this style of training, if you’re new to deadlifting then that exercise is definitely not the right choice...
As you get to the point of duress, the likeliness for injury increases dramatically, so make sure it’s a movement you are competent in...
