Shooting comedy is so much fun, but you have to learn to anticipate the laugh. If they manage to really get you, you're going to get camera shake. So as much as possible, we try to keep hands off the camera during the show - stop being so funny people!

Animation and graphics should enhance your message and create something unforgettable. One of our favourite styles is a combination of beautifully shot video with integrated graphics. Here are a few shots from a piece we did for Smart Space which showcases this concept.
The most important thing is to be comfortable. If your feet are hurting in your fabulous (but too tight) shoes, you won't relax and be yourself in front of the camera.
Does your outfit represent you and your brand well? We also want to avoid any commercial logos or visible branding and very fine patterns are also best left in the wardrobe.
We often recommend bringing a couple of clothing options. Something as simple as a jacket which can be added or removed should mix up your look enough for a bit of variety in the shots.

Looking back on how this business started and where we are now, it's a nice thing to reflect on. For people who don't know we began with a little home office that was more akin to a captains quarters of a ship, over looking Gordon's Bay and Clovelly in Sydney. This photo was taken at Clovelly recently where we stopped to think about how far the business has come since those days.
It would be a lie to say we didn't miss those ocean views every day, but we wouldn't go back to lugging all the gear across Clovelly, up and down so many stairs with no parking!

Bringing your ideas to life is what we do. The team Mad Matt 4WD had an idea. To do a live 4WD demonstration at the National 4x4 shows which tour the country. The brief was this:
We want to build a mountain, drive all over it, teach people about safe 4 wheel driving by allowing them to see inside the car.
Enter who rigged the vehicle and the mountain with various cameras and big screens so that the audience could get the most out of the demonstration. This little piece gives a bit of insight into how we made it all work.
