One week since the Mo’onia Cup and what an incredible day it was 🙌🏽✨The turnout, the energy, and the beautiful weather made it one to remember.

We were proud to have 5 Davui teams competing, all playing true Fijian style and giving it their all on the court. Huge congratulations to every player who represented our community with so much love, passion, and pride 🩵💙 Vinaka vakalevu to everyone who came and supported our teams as well as our coaching staff and our umpires🙏

Last night our Davui teams had the honour and privilege of being trained by our very own future U21 Fiji coach, Vaiti Waqatabu 🙌🏽🇫🇯

What an awesome day for our little Davui community 🇫🇯. Yesterday our players proudly represented Davui at the 2026 International Sapphire Series Championship in Minto. It was an exciting opportunity to showcase the many talents within our community. Thank you to our parents, our coaches, our managers, our Davui committee for all your hard efforts which does not go unnoticed in the planning and making events happen for our children. Our teams also showed love to our neighbours who travelled from the province Naitasiri, in Fiji to compete in the competition yesterday. Showing Fiji love, Sydney Style🥰

Yesterday, our U15 Mixed Davui team went undefeated all day, walking away with the Championship Trophy in 1st place 🏆.

Our Opens Team also had an incredible run, making it all the way to the finals. They fought tirelessly right through to the end of the 4th quarter and proudly secured 2nd place 🥈.

Finally, our Senior Mixed team made the finals and fought hard until the very end, unfortunately falling short but showing great determination.

Everyone should be incredibly proud of their efforts regardless of the outcome. It’s amazing to see the heart, determination, and talent within our teams, and we’re excited to continue watching our little community grow bigger and stronger together ❤️👏🏾 Congratulations to our Davui teams!

Get your teams registered for this coming Saturday 11th October in association with the FIJI DAY Celebrations held at Woodward Park, Liverpool. It’s going to be a day of rich Fijian culture with live entertainments, NETBALL, rugby, volleyball, island food stalls and so much more.
