🌺🇫🇯 SO PROUD OF OUR DAVUI GIRLS!

What an incredible display of strength, passion, pride and culture as part of our Fiji Day celebrations! 🇫🇯

After a full day of giving their all on the netball courts at our Davui Cup, our beautiful young girls traded their netball uniforms for traditional Fijian attire and took to the stage to perform the Meke and traditional Fijian and Tongan dances in front of a huge audience! 🌺

Despite a long and tiring day of netball, they performed with so much energy, confidence and pride. What a beautiful sight it was to see our young girls embracing their heritage and sharing the richness and beauty of our Fijian culture with the wider community.

This is what NSW Fiji Davui is all about! 💙

It’s more than just netball. It’s about connection, identity, belonging and passing down our beautiful traditions to the next generation.

As we celebrated Fiji Day, we were reminded of just how special our culture is and how important it is to keep these traditions alive.

We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of our girls. You represented your families, your heritage and our Davui family so beautifully.

Our culture is our strength, our heritage is our pride, and our young people are our future! 🇫🇯🌺
