Sydney Uni Water Polo aims to provide Men and Women of all ages a safe and positive environment to play and learn the game of Water Polo.
Sydney Uni Water Polo is the number one club in Australia, securing Senior and Junior Club Championships for 2025. The club is a family friendly organisation that offers a pathway to State and National participation and also recreational Water Polo competition. AYC 2026 – Lions, WE’RE READY! 🦁💪🔥
It’s been a long journey this year… Let’s take a moment to reflect on everything that’s brought you here — the training sessions, the games, the tournaments. Every challenge, every effort, and every sacrifice has led to this moment.
Now AYC is here, and we’ll be coming together in Brisbane for the next two weeks to compete at the highest level. As you dive into the pool, remember the hard work, the discipline, and the commitment that got you here. Trust in yourselves, trust in each other, play well, and have lots of fun! 💛💙

Sydney University Water Polo Club (SUWPC) is one of Australia’s highest performing water polo clubs.
It is one of Sydney University’s premier sporting Clubs. Current successes include being both Australia’s senior and junior Club Champions:
· 2025 Australia Water Polo League - Overall Club Champion (only Club with M&W teams in top 3)
· 2025 Australia Youth Club Championships – Overall Club Champion (medalled in 7 of 8 age Gold Divisions)
· 2025 Australian University UniSports Games – Men Champions / Women Bronze
The foundation of SUWPC’s approach has been built on a commitment to provide quality structured paid coaching for senior teams and junior teams U18-U12.
We seek to provide an environment for those who want to be part of a great Club, develop their skills and be part of teams that enjoy their water polo. The Club has produced numerous Australian and State representatives including many Olympians over the years.
SUWPC is undertaking a full review of our coaching structure for the 2026-27 season as part of our regular renewal. We invite all coaches interested in being part of the Lions Family from AWL coaches to Junior Coaches to submit an EOI to assist in the review and putting in place the coaching team for the 2026-27 season.

LAST ROUND GAMES OF AWL THIS WEEKEND 🦁
Tonight night we kick off the final four round games of the AWL, with the Lions taking on Drummoyne and Cronulla.
Let’s get down to our home games on Friday night and Saturday afternoon to support our Lions before the final six are decided and the finals series begins in a fortnight.
