Congratulations to our Sydney Uni Lions who have been selected to represent NSW at the 2026 National State Championships (NSC) in the U15s and U17s teams.

The NSC is Australia's premier age-group representative event, bringing together the nation's best young athletes to compete for the national title. This year's tournament will be held in Melbourne from 29 September – 3 October, 2026.

With 22 Sydney Uni athletes selected across the NSW teams, this is a massive achievement for our club and a testament to the hard work of our athletes, coaches and community.

We are incredibly proud of your achievements, and can't wait to see you represent NSW with pride. Good luck, Lions, and good luck Team NSW!!! 🦁💙💛💙❤️

The 2026 World Aquatics Men’s U16 World Championships have come to an end, with our Lions proudly representing two nations on the international stage.

Sydney Uni was proudly represented by five Lions:

🇦🇺 Australia (14th Overall)
• Phoenix Irvine (Captain)

🇸🇬 Singapore (18th Overall)
• Russell Yuan

Australia produced some excellent performances throughout the tournament, recording victories over Slovenia (11–8) and Romania (10–6) in the group stage, before defeating Romania (8–5) again in the classification rounds to finish 14th overall.

Representing your country at a World Championships is an outstanding achievement and reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication these young athletes have shown throughout their journey. Competing against the world’s best at this level provides experiences that will help shape their future in our sport.
