As of December 2020, the Macarthur Weasleys Quidditch Club is on hiatus for the foreseeable future. You can still contact us at with any questions.
Macarthur Quidditch was founded by Arfy Papadam and Clare Thorn on January 19th, 2013. The Macarthur Weasleys made their tournament debut in March 2014 at the Triwizard Tournament, defeating ANU Australian National Nargles (Canberra) in their debut match. 5 years ago today the Australian Dropbears won the 2016 Quidditch World Cup, being the only country to ever defeat Team USA. Here's a throwback to all 5 Dropbears squads over the years, including the 2020 squad selected but unfortunately unable to compete due to Covid-19. Bonus points if you can identify the 3 Weasleys players who represented the Aussies over the years :-) .

We won't be at today's Friendlies held in Gosford, but the Weasleys are definitely there in spirit! We're providing the scoreboards, a set of hoops, and a set of balls (heh), and Arfy has been a consultant to the Sydney City Serpents in regards to line-marking!
