The history of Night Racing Carnival

Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club has been around for 110 years. We are based in the inner west of Sydney and are one of NSW’s largest cycling clubs. We’ve got a great history on the track and have teamed with Paul Craft, promoter of the long-running Christmas Track Carnival in Sydney to put on a big event. It’s got bigger and better every year. We’ve grown from an event that attracted around 400 people in it’s first year, over 600 last year and who knows in 2018!

People told us they loved the energy, the fast-paced racing, great commentary so that if you didn’t know anything about track racing you were kept well informed. They also loved Tempe on a warm summer evening as the sun went down, the food, the band who really got into the groove of the racing and provided entertainment in the breaks through the to general vibe of the place.
