Congratulations to our Sydney Quidditch League teams for their achievements at the QUAFL 2013 Oceania Regional Championships!

- Macquarie Marauders for making the Grand Final
- uSyd Unspeakables for making the top 4 against all odds
- UWS Thestrals for winning the wheelchair quidditch championship

And congrats to Macquarie and uSyd for qualifying for next year's World Cup!

ROUND 3 NEXT SUNDAY OCTOBER 13TH!!

With UNSW having a comfortable lead above the rest of the Sydney pack, it's going to be the battles of UWS and uSyd to see who will meet UNSW in the Grand Final!

Despite being favourites earlier in the year, UWS have a big job ahead of them after they forfeited all their Round 2 matches. They will need to win all Round 3 games for a guaranteed Grand Final berth.

uSyd are a very strong team with plenty of potential. Currently gaining more experience in the Sydney and Triwiz tournaments, they promise to be a force to be reckoned with in the QUAFL regional championships in December.

UTS will be looking for their first win of this season's SQL.

UNSW seem to be doing their best work in this latter half of the year, as they threaten to wrestle UWS's earlier 2013 dominance away.

All in all, it will be an interesting and important round, we encourage everyone to attend, and there will be Merc action for anyone who wants it!
