231kms along the Larapinta Trail in one go = West Macs Monster! Many people choose to experience this amazing trail over 2+ weeks, however a few take on the challenge of the Monster getting it all done in 2+ days.

La Sportiva athlete Gill Fowler 4th overall across the line and 1st Female, completing the trail in crazy quick 49 hours 44 mins!

“It’s such a fantastic and epic event put on by the volunteer led West Macs Monster team, from Mount Sonder in the west to the Telegraph Station in Alice Springs on Arrernte land. Big open landscapes with technical rocky trails along ridgelines mixed with some sweet flowing runnable trails. Mountain climbs, gorges with scrambling, and a few water crossings all while following the blue trail markers. This trail has it all!”
